Cancellation Policy

Once you have reserved your space on a More Life Adventures retreat with your booking deposit you will be sent Terms and Conditions to sign. Your retreat space will only be confirmed once you have signed this document.

The below cancellation policy will only apply once your retreat space has been confirmed.

Circumstances under which we may need to cancel a retreat.

MLA reserves the right to cancel any retreat prior to departure for the below reasons, in addition to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. acts of God, war, strikes etc), which may impede retreat operations.  The refund of all booking payments received will release MLA from any further liability.

Minimum number of guests

Our retreats require a minimum of 50% capacity to go ahead. If this minimum number is not reached 30 days before the start date, we reserve the right to cancel the trip. If this happens, we will issue you a full refund, including your deposit and any subsequent payments.

A retreat cancellation due to insufficient numbers would normally occur at least a month prior to departure, unless acts of God, war, strikes or other events cause participants to cancel their booking in the last days before departure.

Covid-19 public health regulations

If the local public health policy prohibits gatherings and events from taking place, we will need to postpone the retreat and will notify you as soon as we have a new date. In that event, you have the option to move your booking to the next available date, or obtain a full refund from us.

If we cancel a trip

In the unfortunate circumstance that we need to cancel a retreat for any reason, you will be issued a full refund, including your deposit.

If you would prefer to keep credit with More Life Adventures to book on another retreat in the future, your credit will be valid for 2 years from the day of cancellation.

If we postpone a trip

If we need to change or postpone the dates of a retreat, you will have the first refusal of the new dates, or the option to cancel with a full refund, including your deposit.

If you would prefer to keep credit with More Life Adventures to book another retreat in the future, your credit will be valid for 2 years from the day of cancellation.

If you cancel your booking

If you need to cancel your booking, you may be issued a partial refund depending on how close your cancellation request is to the start date of the trip. Below is an illustration of our refund timeline.

Booking Deposit: Your deposit is non-refundable unless we (MLA) have cancelled or postponed your trip.

Up to 90 days before departure: If you need to cancel your booking up to 90 days before the start of a trip, we will keep your booking deposit but any other payments you have made to that date will be refunded to you.

Between 60 and 90 days before departure: If you need to cancel your booking between 60 and 90 days before the start of the trip, we will retain 50% of the full cost of the trip and refund you any payments you have made over that amount.

60 days or less before departure: We do not issue refunds less than 60 days from the start of a trip.

If you would like to move your booking to a different date

We will do our best to accommodate your request to change, but we cannot guarantee this and so for clarity, this would be treated as a cancellation with the same refund policy as illustrated above.

Any request to cancel your retreat needs to be made in writing and emailed to hello@morelifeadventures.com and the cancellation will take effect upon our acknowledgement of your email.
