World-class HIKING adventures

Alpine hospitality, endless trails, awe-inspiring views, and a shot of adrenaline await you on our Chamonix Hiking Retreat.

With the peaks of Mont Blanc towering over it, Chamonix is the birthplace of modern mountaineering, and a world-class destination for all outdoor enthusiasts. Known for its dramatic alpine landscapes, it’s a haven for hikers, climbers and trail runners in the warmer months and a legendary ski resort in the winter, having hosted the first Winter Olympics in 1924.

We can’t wait to host you on this unforgettable adventure!

IS THIS FOR ME?

This weekend is for adventurers and lovers of mountains, looking to take on a variety of hikes, enjoy breathtaking views and spend time together away from the city. A moderate level of fitness is required as most hikes have a long uphill part. However we will be going at a steady pace, taking regular breaks, and stopping to enjoy the views.

retreat highlights

Prepare to experience the many faces of Chamonix and to surprise yourself with a new adventure daily. We work with expert local guides to always keep you in safe hands while pushing your limits.

Daily Hiking

We have selected some of the most scenic hikes in the area, a variety of distances and styles, including the Grands Balcons, Lac Blanc and Mer de Glace. We’ll make the most of the lunch spots along the trails.

Trail Running

We are based within walking distance of stunning riverside and forest trails, perfect for short or medium distance trail running. These will be led by coach Vicky Brackin to suit the group’s level and appetite.

Yin Yoga

An ideal complementary activity to hiking and trail running, yin yoga is a  slow, meditative practice where poses are held for several minutes to target deep connective tissues, fascia, and joints. It will help us recover from hiking and running by reducing muscle soreness, improving circulation and promoting better sleep.

Aiguille du Midi

Taking the cable car to the Aiguille du Midi is a must for a visitor to the Chamonix Valley. At 3842m, this carefully designed destination offers jaw-dropping views of jagged peaks, and an almost birds-eye view of the Chamonix Valley, Mont Blanc, the Glacier des Bossons, and even the Matterhorn on a clear day.

Optional Rock Climbing and Mountain Biking

For those who’d like to add a shot or two of adrenaline to the week, you have the option to spend a few hours scaling the vertical rock faces of Les Gaillands, with our trusted local coaches. You can also opt for guided mountain biking, exploring Chamonix’s scenic trails at a higher speed.  The route will be tailored to the level of our group.

AccomModation

Nestled in the centre of Chamonix, our retreat base is an elegant Alpine chalet blending traditional charm and modern comfort, located in the centre of town and surrounded by breathtaking peaks. We have 6 flexible double/twin rooms and bathrooms over 3 storeys and a mix of private and shared spaces for you to feel right at home: enclosed garden and terrace for alfresco meals, outdoor pool and hot tub, an indoor lounge and dining area for gathering in the evenings, as well as a separate entertainment room.

This is your sanctuary—a place to rest, reflect, and immerse yourself in the magic of the mountains.

  • Exclusive Hire: The entire chalet is reserved just for our group, ensuring privacy and a personalised experience.

  • Private or Shared Rooms: Choose from 6 thoughtfully designed bedrooms, with private or shared bathrooms. You can book one solo or to share it with a friend or partner. (Unless you select a shared room, we will not book you into one.)

  • Spacious Communal Aeas: Unwind in the lounge by the fireplace or relax on the sun-drenched terrace with stunning mountain views.

  • Outdoor pool and hot tub:  Relax after a day of exercise while soaking in the alpine scenery.

  • Unplug: There is good WiFi throughout the chalet, but we encourage complete unplugging!

Meals

We will fuel our adventures with hearty, delicious meals that celebrate the best of Haute Savoie cuisine. From mountain lodge lunches to traditional fondue dinners, mealtimes will be for getting together to refuel, connect, and taste local favours of the French Alps.

Breakfast

We have planned a mix of buffet style breakfasts in the comfort of our chalet and heading out to our favourite local cafés.

Lunch

Each day, we will have lunch on the mountain, where our hikes take us. Expect traditional cuisine, the freshest local ingredients and unforgettable views.

Dinner

Evenings are all about relaxing and sharing stories from the day at our favourite Chamonix eateries.

We will cater to all dietary requirements. Once we’ve received your deposit we send out detailed booking forms for you to fill these out.
