THE HIKE
This circular hike starts and ends at Shalford Train Station, guiding us through the fascinating ruins of the Chilworth Gunpowder Works, up to St. Martha’s Hill, offering stunning panoramic views, and along the peaceful River Wey Navigation. The route includes a mix of terrains, from woodland paths to riverside trails, making it perfect for those with moderate fitness levels. Sturdy footwear is recommended, especially after rain.
