If weather conditions are unfavorable, we’ve prepared an alternative route through Knole Park and Sevenoaks Town, offering a shorter but equally beautiful hike. Whether sunshine or rain, this adventure promises incredible views and great company!

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • THE HIKE

    Our primary route takes us on a breathtaking journey through Knole Deer Park, with its roaming deer and picturesque landscapes. We’ll continue through peaceful woodlands and onto Ightham Mote, a beautiful medieval moated manor house. This moderately challenging hike is perfect for those with a good level of fitness.

    In case of bad weather, we’ll opt for the shorter Knole Park loop, exploring its serene grounds and enjoying the charming streets of Sevenoaks.

  • WHAT TO BRING & WEAR

    - A daypack or small rucksack
    - Reusable water bottle
    - Snacks or a sandwich for along the way
    - Warm clothing: beanie, gloves, scarf, raincoat, and sturdy, waterproof shoes
    - Optional: Camera or binoculars for spotting wildlife

how to GET THERE

By Public Transport:

Train: Take a train from London Charing Cross, Waterloo East, or London Bridge to Sevenoaks Station (Southeastern Railway). The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes.

By Car:

Parking: Parking is available at Sevenoaks Station. Use postcode TN13 2JD for navigation.
