Crete is a canvas made of wild beaches, steep mountains and ancient treasures, weaving in vibrant towns and quiet villages, where locals share their traditions, wonderful cuisine and generous spirit. The eastern side of Crete is made up of pebble beaches, gorges and olive groves.
Crete’s natural beauty is equalled only by the richness of its history. The island is the birthplace of the first advanced society on European soil, the Minoans, who ruled some 4000 years ago. There are local Minoan and Byzantine remains for those of you keen on history.
We have included trips to beautiful places and have also left room for spontaneous adventure. We will make time to hike, plant our footprints on a sandy beach, boat to beautiful caves and cycle among breath-taking orchards whilst making life-long friendships.
